(AMM) Lead, UBCs defy nonferrous scrap export fall

Nonferrous scrap exports from the United States sagged further in September, falling nearly 16 percent by quantity and 15 percent by value compared with month-earlier levels.

As later months are quantified, the rate of decline will likely increase in reflection of the current collapse in the market.

The drop wasn't across the board, though. Mexico, India and Vietnam registered increases during the month vs. August...
